A Week of Finding Simple Pleasures

Over the last few weeks I have been asking some of my faithful readers to give me some feedback on my blog and what kind of posts they would like to see more of. My sister Cora said she wanted to see more Simple Pleasures posts. I thought this was a really good idea as it is a reminder to find something good in each day. I did my best to photograph each simple little thing but I couldn't capture one. Sorry.

Here is my week of simple pleasures in pictures.

Sunday: A bubble caught in a spiderweb

Monday: Chocolate

Tuesday: My pretty fall bouquet

Wednesday: My crockpot

Thursday: Our goldfish plant
I didn't get a picture of Friday's simple pleasure because it didn't last long enough for me to capture it on camera. It snowed for the first time this year! It really made me smile and excited to see those first few snow flakes.

Saturday: My new knitting supplies
There you go Cora, I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the things I enjoyed this past week. It was a challenge on some days but definitely helped me find something good. I will try to do it again soon. Maybe even make it a monthly thing.

  1. I have a goldfish plant, too! Also, lovelovelove Vanna's Choice yarn (and I just posted about it, too).

    We should be BFFs now.

  2. Yay! I love the bubble caught in the spiderweb. And the first snow!! It is one of the best feelings in the world. :)
Thanks, Jennie. I like the idea of repeating Simple Pleasures Week once a month. You are a superb blogger my dear!
