What's Growing Wednesday?

For those of you who I have on Facebook, sorry for the duplicate of pictures. I just had to share them though, since it's pretty darn exciting.

After being away for the weekend, we came home to this bounty of produce and eggs!

So we ate supper that night with foods grown entirely in our backyard. It thrilled my soul and tasted oh so good.

And now I have a ton of zucchini and beans to freeze.

The beans I just chop up into small bite size pieces, blanch them and then freeze it in portions perfect for Dan and I.

The zucchini I will grate and then freeze in 1 or 2 cup measurements, perfect to thaw and throw into spaghetti sauce or some muffins.

No pictures of the actual garden this week. Mostly because I'm too lazy to actually go out and take the picture. Until next week!
