Trying Out New Patterns

I like to knit. This past year has definitely been an eye opener to me on how much I like to knit and I've had fun experimenting with different patterns.

I'm still in the learning process and haven't tried anything too complicated yet, but I am having a good time along the way.

I found this pattern on Ravelry and I'm totally in love with it. It's called Pine Forest Baby Blanket and it turned out just as nice as I had imagined.

Maybe even nicer actually. I really love it.

I specifically made this baby blanket for my friend Vicky's son who was born in December. I made her daughter one when she was born so I wanted to make one for her son as well. I gave it to her last week and I think she liked it just as much as I did.

I can't wait to start my next blanket! I wonder which pattern I will choose...

  1. I don't just like it, I LOVE IT. Sometimes I just stare at it because it's so pretty. And it's pretty cute to see Mason smoosh his face into it!

  2. I want one!
So beautiful, hun. Such beautiful work!

  3. Super beautiful. Such a talented woman!

  4. Vicky - So glad that you still love it! And even better to hear that Mason loves it too. It's just so soft, how could a baby not like it?

Jenek - Thanks! It really looks gorgeous once it's finished.

    Kristy - Thank you!

  5. Beautiful!! I'm not sure I'll ever be at that level, knitting OR crocheting! I'll stick to my cross-stitching =)

  6. Kate - Thank you! You can totally reach this level if you keep at it. You should see the first thing I ever knitted. :P And cross-stitching is pretty impressive too!

    Stasy - Thank you!
