Another Best Blog Award!

I am part of an online support group for loss moms who are trying again. I have been a part of this board for almost three years and have seen it go through a lot of ups and downs. Each year, in November/December, the TTCAL Awards are held and everyone votes for who they think should win a certain award.

I won Most Encouraging the first year and I won Best Blog last year. This year, I was hoping for a different award and did some minor campaigning for it. But, I didn't win the award I was hoping for, instead, I won Best Blog again!

At first, I was a tiny bit sad that I had won the same award as last year.  But that sadness only lasted about a second because the more I thought about it, the more excited I became.

I won Best Blog because I do have an awesome blog. And it made me feel even better about my blog by the fact that I didn't even campaign for this award, people just know about my blog and love it. So I will proudly wear my newest award and I am delighted that others have recognized the hard work I have put into my blog over the past few years.

Because today, I can honestly say, my blog is awesome.

Stasy - Thanks! And the purpose of my blog is not to make you feel like a horrible housewife. It's supposed to be slightly inspiring.

  6. Congratulations, Jennie!!! This excellent blog is regularly being produced by an awesome woman ... to encourage ... and inspire others. I have to chuckle because as I write, I realized that you are the "Titus 2" woman in reverse. When it comes to teaching others .... inspiring others to enhance our skills & practices, age is no barrier .... as you so aptly prove. You do deserve this aware .... and many others which will come to you. But what I 'see' in your post today is that your sense of joy and pride is internal .. produced by yourself and not dependent on what others think. You're doing something great and YOU realize it and this is what really counts. Love you, Jenny

  7. Bunny - Thank you. I never thought of the fact that I could be the Titus 2 woman in reverse. I just figured I was practicing my awesome skills to be a Titus 2 woman sometime in the future. You always say the most encouraging things, thank you.

  8. I remember years ago the Lord pointing out ... I will have to check ... Ps 145 or thereabouts ... that there is no age / generation differences ... that we can learn from each other. The elderly must accept counsel / suggestions from youth, etc. .... maybe more specific for culture here
