It's been a while since I blogged about my weight gain progress. In fact, it's been over 6 months since I gave you an update. Oops.
Although it's mostly because my last update back in April told you all that I was up to 115 lbs, but then I lost weight and was back down to 108 lbs. I didn't want to tell you all that since I was sad that it had happened. I figured if I didn't admit it, it wasn't true.
Alas, that is not how things work around here. Tis a shame.
Back to my weight gain. I'm pretty sure that 115 lbs thing was a total fluke since I didn't stay at that weight for more than a week. By mid-summer, I was bordering more around 111 lbs and then I went back down to 108 lbs after our motorcycle accident. I weighed myself consistently throughout the few short weeks I was pregnant and was balancing around 110 lbs. After my miscarriage and D&C, I didn't weigh myself for a few weeks because I was just too scared to see that the scales had most likely gone down.
So I waited until after the food-filled Quebec Thanksgiving weekend to weigh myself again and I was thrilled to see that I hadn't lost weight with the miscarriage. Or at least if I had, it had all be gained back during thanksgiving weekend.
Monday morning is my weigh-in day and as of this week, I am sitting at a respectful 113 lbs.
I am thrilled with this and happy to be keeping on the weight. I still don't think I'll meet my 10 lb weight gain goal by the end of 2013, but I have at least made progress.
