Simple Pleasures - October 2014

I've been enjoying the little things this last week, trying to remind myself to slow down, look around and soak up the moment. It doesn't always happen but it's good to still try.

Our blueberry plants turn such a gorgeous colour

Sedum are so pretty in the fall

Chilling with my hubby

Free samples!

Book finds from the giant library sale I attended

Piling wood in the late afternoon sunshine

A giant tree we found while geocaching
Now it's your turn. What have you been feeling thankful for and appreciating lately?

  3. Love your post today Jennie :) I can't believe another month is already just about done. I'm thankful for my hard working husband, fall colours and a few extra hours of sleep I've been getting. :)

  5. Kate - I love free samples. :) And being able to travel is a very good thing to be thankful for.

Furry Gnome - We have been working on our fall chores but still have quite a bit left to do. We have to get on that! And what exactly is a fitbit? I hear so much about it but don't really know what it is.

Jackie - The months sure do go by quickly don't they? Those are all very good things to be thankful for.

Stasy - We're basically into winter now. Fall is always way too short.
