Fair Time

If you have been following my blog for a while, you'll know that every August we attend the Wilberforce Agricultural Fair and I usually enter some things into the Homecraft Exhibits. This year was no different and I thought I would share my entries and let you know how I did. If you want to see how I did the last few years, click here, here and here.

Each year I have great intentions about all the things I will make/do for the next year and then they never actually happen. I should probably just stop making such lofty goals that I never attain. Oh well. I didn't do too shabby with my winnings this year and I'm proud of that.

My proudest accomplishment was the banana muffins. I made gluten/dairy/corn free muffins and entered them into the normal banana muffin category without telling anyone about their limitations. And they won! I am seriously proud of myself on that one.

Isn't my niece a cutie?

Anyways, that sums up how I did at the fair this year. Until next year!

  1. Wow, you did wonderfully! Congratulations!

  2. Cute pics! And congratulations on your winnings. :D

  3. gluten/dairy/corn free muffins and they won?! awesome job!!!

  4. You should be very proud of the muffins. Mine even had chocolate chips in it and only got second.

  5. I'd say you did very well if your fair is anything like our local fair.
