17 Goals for 2017 - Progress Report #4

Maybe this blog will just be for sharing goals now. Or maybe I'll get around to posting more in 2018. Who knows what the future holds, but for now I still enjoy sharing my goals with you all and being able to keep track of how I'm doing. So I will continue to do so!

2017 turned out to be a pretty good year in the goal department and I'm proud of how I did!

1. Read 12 books Done! Joining a book club definitely helped this year, although my goal was pretty small as it is.
2. Renovate basement It's done!!! We still need to do some serious cleaning/organizing/purging but the renos are officially done on the interior of the house. Woot woot!
3. Run my fifth 5k Done! And I ran the whole thing! Time was 38:47. I actually also ran another one in September and my time was 35:28. Go me!
4. Set up a nursery No nursery because no baby. I just coudn't handle having a set up nursery so instead I have made the room into my workout room. Maybe I'll share pics once it's done being set up.
5. Blog at least twice a month Not at all! I did well the first 6 months and then seriously fell off the wagon on this one.
6. Take a pottery class with Dan Done!
7. Visit the ocean I went in July and it was amazing! I need to go to the ocean more.
8. Go on a weekend camping trip We got out in August and the weather couldn't have been better.
9. Clear backyard and bring in fill This one finally got done in November and it's looking good back there! I can't wait for some grass and a garden next summer.
10. Make a budget We are rocking this one by having a monthly budget for the last 4 months and actually sticking to it!
11. Go on a date once a month with Dan I can't remember specific dates but I'm pretty sure we did something at least once a month so I'm calling it done.
12. Buy new windows for the basement Windows are done and are beautiful!
13. Start a couples infertility support group Done!
14. Colour more often Work sort of got in the way.
15. Start organizing photos on the computer Not one photograph was organized.
16. Attend a dance workshop Attended one the end of March. Read more about it here.
17. Do bookkeeping at least once a month Mission accomplished.

Go me! I actually completed 13/17 goals this year, which is like 76%.

For the fun of it, let's look back at some previous years goals and my success rates:
12 Goals for 2012 - 58% complete
13 Goals for 2013 - 85% complete
14 Goals for 2014 - 86% complete
15 Goals for 2015 - 67% complete
16 Goals for 2016 - 50% complete

If you really want a good chuckle, click on the links for each year and see how my goal making skills have improved.

How did you guys do with your goals? I love hearing from you, even if you don't hear from me much!
